When I found out that children in foster care usually carry their belongings in a trash bag, I knew I had to do something to help. Every donation you make through this page supports the bag of hope program that provides a large brand-new duffel bag for a child in foster care. And this is not just any bag, but a bag that is embroidered with the child’s first name in their favorite color. These bags are put together as one of a kind, with the specific child in mind. For the almost 600 youth in foster care in the Queen City these bags are HOPE and shows them they are not forgotten, they are not invisible, and they are worth it! Every dollar equals 1 vote for me in the talent competition!
The event will be held on Saturday, November 14th at the Booth Playhouse in Charlotte - tickets go on sale in July!
